YOGA RETREATS

Retreats are replete with benefits. My retreats give you time and permission to slow down, relax and renew. They provide you with healthy meals (and daily desserts!), without having to shop and wash up. They (re)connect you with friends and people with whom you have at least one thing in common - the retreat! 

In addition to asana (yoga postures), my retreats include meditation, pranayama (breathwork) and yoga nidra. They  take place in beautiful places so you can tune into the power of Nature and your place within it, as a backdrop to the more subtle aspects of yoga.

Although you often have to travel to get to a retreat, the real journey starts when you arrive. Sometimes you will feel completely at home, other times you might feel challenged. Rarely boring, always reliant on the protection, wisdom and love inherent in yoga, retreats give you a chance to explore the rich tapestry that makes up you and your life.

Meeting Leela Miller back in 2005 literally changed my life and the way I practiced yoga. She gave me the opportunity to study with her and learn how to teach ashtanga focusing on the alignment and ahimsa. Leela has a unique way to approach students and students love her for her great sense of humour and for her in-depth knowledge in asanas, yoga nidra, injuries and chakras. Her chanting creativity is one of a kind and her firmness will encourage someone to be the best version of themselves . I had the honour and pleasure to host her in my studio many times the following years and to be part of the teacher training she created in 2018. I am proud to call her my teacher and friend.
